About

Embedit Electronics was founded by Robert Barron and Brian Bradley, two recently graduated seniors at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a passion for embedded devices. We have been working with the Design Lab at Rensselaer and the Foundry at the RPI Severino Center to bring our ideas to life.

Robert Barron received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Systems Engineering. His passion for embedded systems and programming has been two of his hobbies for several years. He comes from Port Washington, NY and tries to get in some Biking and Rock Climbing when he can get the chance.

Brian Bradley received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. His concentration is in Robotics and Control, but embedded applications have always been a devoted hobby of his. He is from Albany NY, and during the winters you can find him on the mountains, skiing at any chance he gets. Otherwise he just likes finding any excuse to spend some time outdoors, especially during the summers.

Arlen Strausman received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Music Theory and Composition from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. At school Arlen focused mostly on game development and the study of game A.I. He is an Albany native who enjoys playing music or tossing frisbees in his spare time.

Our first product is the PiSoC, and it stands as the foundation of our company. But this is just the beginning, and we are always looking forward to the future. We hope to soon begin development of new embedded solutions for hobbyists, students, educators, and industry professionals alike.
